I've been totally out of it sick with nastiness for the past week on top of the crazy root canal fiasco and have finally gotten around to this point on the to do list... #4,187: List goodies on website. Yeah, I skipped numbers 1 to 4,186, but who's counting? The goodies are there, and that's what matters.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Personally, I started the binge eating yesterday after I made a plate of chocolate chip mandel bread (like biscotti, but softer). Yum.

I'm supposed to be making a sweet potato casserole right now... (why my mom wants it made 4 hours before guests come I'll never know). None the less, I've sneaked away to let you know that I'm having a Black Friday (through Sunday) sale. Some items are nearly 50% off. Yay-hoo!

Daphne's Cottage

Daphne's Cottage Update and Sale:

Just wanted to let you all know the status of Daphne's Cottage. I know some of you have asked what's going on with Elizabeth and her Mom.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth's Mom, Jane, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Daphne's cottage will be put on hold for the meantime.
Elizabeth is therefore liquidating a lot of the merchandise that is on her site including paintings, art and jewelry. There is no shopping cart on the site, but you can call or email to order anything on there excluding Bari J. bags which are apparently sold. And Elizabeth says to ignore the pricing. She'll be selling most of it at or near wholesale cost.

frame sale at aaron brothers

first of all, forgive my lack of capital letters. i spilled an entire cup of coffee on my keyboard yesterday, and now the shift keys don't work... don't ask...i'm off to best buy in a bit. anyways...

i wanted to fill you in on one of my favorite sales of the year, aaron brothers 'buy one, get one for a one cent sale'.  it's running until almost the end of july. now, here's the deal. if you are planning on getting some more expensive frames, don't buy those with the lesser expensive ones, or you'll end up getting your seven dollar frame free and paying for the 20 dollar frame. my plan is to head back later for those seven dollar frames. i got four 20 dollar frames yesterday for 40. i wait all year for this sale. so i finally got around to framing the photos from my sister's wedding which was last august. the pictures have been sitting for months.
