Between Etsy & Flickr I'm going to go broke.

Julie Found me on Flickr today and added me as a contact. I took a peeky at her pics and went gaga crazy!
This is why...

I immediately went to her Etsy Shop & click, in the cart it went. I Can Not Wait to get it!

The same thing happened the other day when I got a message from Teresa of French Poppy. I popped over there to her Etsy shop and clickidy-click, click, click. Got some gorgeous tea towels. I have ZERO impulse control.

But admit it, you're drooling.

Mmmmm... Etsy... Mmmmm... Pin Cushions

I'm an Etsy Junkie. And I know I'm not alone.

We could be the new founders of an organization called EJA... Etsy Junkies Anonymous, but let's get real here, this is not addiction we want to cure. It fulfills our darkest shopping needs. How would I procrastinate my day away with out Etsy? What would I do when I'm really supposed to be cleaning the house and doing laundry?

In the need to not be alone, I shall feed your addiction too, thereby making you my enabler, and me yours.

And as if I didn't know that you also have an additional addiction to pin cushions, I'm going to feed that addiction too. I'm sabotaging your Pin Cushion/Etsy diet.

Kalurah is a genius with yarn. Isn't this pretty? And now... It's MINE all MINE. I love the combo of brown with black. Kalurah is also now selling patterns... cool deal! 'Cept I can't knit or crochet... But you all can. Not me. I am challenged in that area.

Kalurah is also a photography genius. She has several blogs you need to check out. While They Play and Open Shutter Case ... Oh, and she can write too. Her stuff has me cracking up!

Lu Lu Lights

I love these nightlights from Lu Lu Lights... another great Etsy find. I couldn't resist the birdy. She went right into my shopping cart. But there are many fabulous pieces to choose from... so truck on down there. Time is a'wastin'! These are super stocking stuffers!

Must Learn Crochet...

Since that's not happening anytime soon I made a stop by Jen Merrit's Etsy shop, Persephone's Awakening (also the name of her wonderful blog), to see if that scarf that I've been coveting was still there.

It was!

(Must have. Must have. Must have. I'm an Etsy Zombie and probably should seek therapy for the condition.)

Ching! Into my cart it goes. La la la. Now I have to wait 'cause Miss Jen has it in an art show right now. Oh, poop-dee-doodle!

Now I digress... Because the color of this scarf reminds me of Irises. And Irises remind me of my China. Iris by Nikko. You know how when you get married they say to get something plain because your tastes will change as the years go by? I didn't listen. Kevin tried to talk me out of this pattern saying it was too busy, and even he now loves it almost 14 years later. Gee, I'm right all the time, it's so true.

This was the first thing I put on the wedding registry and the only thing I still totally adore. And let me tell you, those pots and pans need to G-O. I think on your 20th wedding anniversary you should get another shower, don't you?

Love that Etsy! Great finds!
