I've told you just how much I love to paint. I would most seriously paint day and night if I could. It has brought me to such a happy place with my creating. For this reason, I'm SO excited to tell you that I have licensed my paintings as well as designs that were originally created for textiles, to METcolors for canvas wall art. Shops, you will now be able to purchase wholesale from them! And hopefully, we will be seeing my pieces in stores very soon! This includes most of my paintings and so much more. Be sure to contact [email protected] for access to their catalog. Meanwhile... originals of my works are available on my website. This one will be uploaded tomorrow when the scan comes back.

In other news, I went ahead and made a piece for the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search... likely just because I liked the brief! The theme was "little terrariums" so I figured that to be just right up my alley! I did this in oil paint on an old board my husband found in the garage, and then I added the writing and other layers in photoshop.

 

Tomorrow the results are posted for the top 50 pieces in the contest.

I feel very happy when I look at this, and was even happier creating it. As some of you may have seen me post on Instagram and Facebook, I really truly believe that that is the most important thing. There were 999 entrants in this contest. That means 949 great pieces of art will go unrecognized. And there is just so much fantastic talent out there. I hope that each and every one of you feels good no matter what the results are. Remember, there are so many other routes to getting your art seen and licensed! I know this for a fact!
