I finally made it back to my sewing drop in at The Quilter's Inn. Forgive the iPhone photos. I forgot the memory card for my camera in the printer. **Sigh**
Here are just a few of the projects the ladies were working on or sharing the finished results of today:
Several of the ladies were working on this pattern in different colors...
Here's a finished beauty that was being shown off...
And another... how much do I love that she mixed my fabric with Kaffe!!!???
And this is probably one of the most amazing pieces I've ever seen. It took her YEARS to collect all those striped fabrics!
And look what she did with the scraps! Amazing, huh?
And lastly, an adorable snowball design for a child's quilt.
Yes. My friends are amazing.
I on the other hand did nothing but cut squares all day. I never made it to the sewing part. Figures.
I finally got to visit my local sewing circle tonight too. Had a lot of fun. Gorgeous quilts your friends are working on. I've made a dress from the yellow Kaffe in the first pic for my little girl. It's so pretty.

I went to a quilt retreat once. It was my first one. I spent the whole 3 days pretty much cutting out blue and white squares and triangles....I feel your pain..I love what your friends are doing there! Such brilliant color...and such simple shapes. It is so cool what can be done with wonderful prints such as yours and Kaffe's and Amy B's (and yep, I put all three of those in the same sentence! :) )
