According to The Bag Snob, I am the new "It Bag".
OK, not MY bags. A bag named for me.
Well, not named for ME.
Named, "Bari"... by none other than Jimmy Choo.
This gives me a good giggle because my name was the source of a lot of playground fodder.
As I wrote the other day, there is also a boot named Bari. Not by Jimmy Choo. By Miz Mooz.
It's a cute name after all, and apparently it means "Home" in Bengali. Who knew? It's also a town in Italy. Maybe that's the connection.
Anyways, thank you to Jimmy Choo who has gotten me a lot of web traffic. Fashionistas everywhere are busy Googling "Bari". If you are one of those fashionistas, you've found it. Bari by Bari J, that is.
Ooooh, I am going to have to name a bag "Bari". I never thought about naming one for myself.
Note to self... Design the new "It Bag". Name it "Bari".
Bari J.... Jimmy Choo. What's the difference???
EDIT: Oh GOOF! I wrote earlier that Jimmy Choo isn't a man, that's it's really designer, Tamara Mellon. Guess I wasn't paying too much attention to the Oprah show I saw her on because apparently Jimmy Choo was there too. They are actually a team. Oh my goodness! My apologies. See! I so have ADD!
I already thought it was a cool name! Well, congrats on the "Bari/Jimmy Choo" googling! Any extra traffic can only be good, right?? I'm sure once they see your bags they will forget all about their original "Choo" desires!! :)

But I think there really IS a Jimmy Choo and he is a man. I thought they even showed a picture of him working when she was on Oprah whenever that was???? I just read her bio and 'Tamara partnered with Mr Jimmy Choo to start the ready to wear company and sourced factories in Italy to produce the shoes on a larger scale.'
